Some development work I had the chance to oversee while given the role of VFX Art Director on Starcraft II Legacy of the void. This particular assignment was about up-rezing the face since it was going to be showcase from up close for the first time. Starting from an old render, I painted an updated look suggesting some modeling updates and surfacing updates. In blue, the amazing sculpting skills of Kenson Yu. The colored renders are showcasing the incredible texture painting work of Eddie Kim and Surfacing supervisor Mike Sandrik, with out who, none of this could have been possible.
